As June moves into July, I've been more and more hooked on the idea of making cute jewelry that incorporated fruit (think Japanese cuteness). I've designed grape earrings, watermelon earrings, and maybe even a watermelon bracelet in my head, so I'm just picking out my supplies. :)
Farrah was lucky this month, being the only person to post my shop link on facebook so she gets the black pearl giveaway bracelet! Thanks, Farrah!
Things have been slowing down a little bit so I'll be posting the giveaways on etsy freebie sites and see if people will help out. The July giveaway will be posted soon, so stay tuned!

Mean and Green Part Deux
True to my last post, I have made earrings, a necklace, and a bracelet that are predominantly green. The Juno earrings have been posted for a couple days, but I still have to photograph the necklace and bracelet. I hope to post them by tonight.
In other news, my Google Analytics tells me that I'm beginning to attract visitors from other countries including Japan, Ireland, Germany, Canada, and Malaysia. If this trend keeps growing, I may have to rethink my international shipping policy and do things on a case by case basis, rather than having a blanket "no international orders" policy. Until international traffic picks up though, I'll have to apologize for the inconvenience of keeping business domestic.
Lastly, I went antiquing at some local store and found this amazing vintage hand-carved amethyst rose pendant. It's really quite something, and I have yet to figure out what I'm going to do with it. Perhaps I'll decide once I get through my standing list of jewelry ideas, or more likely, I'll spend the next couple days browsing my suppliers for complimentary beads and such for the pendant. :)

Mean and Green
In keeping with my summer theme, I'll be producing more pieces that incorporate green things. I particularly love the Ophelia necklace (pictured above).
Also, I visited the Presidio in San Francisco today (pictured below) and saw these lovely yellow flowers. I have found some great flower cabochons from TrendySupplier and minisibo on Etsy. I can't wait to get them in the mail.
